Hey canned,
All your update photos are M.I.A. !!
.
Painless, just to update your link.. with the Shermans.... (Great page by the way ) .... The 105mm with the Coaxial flame thrower is the very BOTTOM photo... but unfortunately it did not make it in time for WW2..
Quote from the bottom beneath the photo..." This design replaced the previous POA-CWS-H1 that had the flame gun replacing the tank's regular armament. The POA-CWS-H5 could be constructed from either 75mm gun or 105mm howitzer tanks, but the design missed seeing action in World War II. "

Do you mean the Comet 'Crocodile' variant? (A34 fitted with flame thrower and trailer?):

Had to smile at the Alphas's (the 'General's') loopy animated GIFS, and comments. Also interesting to see the names of (former

) respected contributors: Scalawag, Dietrich, et al...
Christian Ludwig sells A34 Kits for scratch building, but you would have to imptovise the flame-thrower version parts yourself.

Canned, unless you have already decided on something, remember that this is the Sherman. There are so many variants, and modifications, that there is a chance of it actually having happened. And I don't know if you have ever seen a Sherman in the Pacific, but they added a ton of stuff to them. I would recommended this sight,

Good Luck!
