After a little clean up and addition of the top pockets and lapels ... ERWIN is just about ready for paint... I thought I'd share some pictures before primer
lapels and pockets applied... sanded sealed ready to go... also her collar line around the neck... where there was residual poly vinyl
her head is articulated.. so can be moved in any position ... the hand is a little chunky... modeled after my own hand ...done with scrap cast resin
added the legs... not sure if I'm going to leave them...looks good on her... will decide later to make them an optional feature
whatcha doin back there?
photos? well OK then ...( vogue )
Enjoy your weekend Gentlemen

I neglected to add... ERWIN'S jacket came from the HENG LONG tank commander included with the STUG III
But you all knew that right

The Erwin figure is really turning out great! You obviously have a talent for construction with figures, as well as with tanks!

Hey sassgrunt.... thanks... No talent here.... I pretty much depend on a lot of luck

...especially with the figures... I'd say they are the most challenging... as..as I get older... I get a little more lazy

....when I used to do garage kits... I didn't mind doing something to recreate a pose (as I tend to like to have some movement in the sculpt) now... I might stare at a figure for days.. before I can figure out what to do without changing too much.... I have to say ERWIN .was one of the most extensive I've done in years ...just because of the layers.. that needed modification
I hope you don't mind if I ask you something... what do you think of the legs??? on or off ?...I was thinking of making them removable... and maybe for display put them back on again..Just not sure if I want to have a pair of legs hanging around lol
THANKS SASSGRUNT

Hey there Ihardnova... long time no post

...Yeah I agree... she did have a different presence in the anime.... it really added to the diversity of the OARAI school team...too bad there aren't too many others that saw the show... I was skeptical at first... but after watching it.... found it not only intriguing... but inspiring... thus the tanks and figures
I'm not sure if you noticed... but the gal in my second tank.. the PANTHER... has nothing to do with the anime... she was a gift from a friend... her chest bounces
so when the tank moves ... so does she

I can't tell you how many laughs and giggles of enjoyment she has given others who have seen the PANTHER in action
What have you been up to?? have you done any builds or mods? ... You have to post some so I can have a look see
Good to hear from you...
