You knocked it off

I guess that would happen to me all the time. Maybe you can add sand bags or crates as firing protection or knock off protection in this case.

I was securing the MG into the pintle mount with a screw and I got a bit heavy handed & broke the solder
Tank day is upon me, so Im going to super glue it this time & make a new pintle after that.
Only bit left now is to colour match the barrel support, and secure it onto the glacis mounting points with bolts I dont have yet.

Herman,
I hear you on the breakage! I redid that phone wire reel on the M36B1 twice because I could not stop fiddling with it and broke the first turret wall mount. If you get a chance, some video of your Beast running at the Tank Day event, please?
regards,
Painless

Have got the barrel support on, and blended in as best I can.
Commanders aerial is on, and the hull MG is 'metalised' & done.
Have hit the usual areas with pencil to give the worn paint effect.
Pics asap.

Hello Mr Herman were you able to get this beast outside and run it about with the club this weekend? I'd love to hear and see it run if you have a video

It did get a run, yes.
Still to do the bucket and a few other details, but the behemoth ran perfectly and sounded ok, could be a bit louder but hey, it's good enough.
I didn't get any video but I did get creative with my phone camera and hers how it looked on the day.
