Thanks Carl, it has turned out pretty well if I say so myself.
I had put off drilling the 868 holes as long as possible and finally had to "bite the bullet" and just do it. Even with the use of the attachment for the Vertical Mill it still required some 11-12 hours over two days.

Hopefully between today and tomorrow I will get the right side drilled and the incredibly boring, daunting task will be complete.
Really looking forward to getting on with detailing the turret especially after viewing Nexusys's work on his Abrams.
Thanks again,
Barry
I wonder how neat your home would look like. Jeez, wouldnt crossed my mind to do those rivets.
C'mon Barry, me is like LandWind X7 whereas yours more Range Rover Evoque comparison

My workbench area. Not always neat and clean!

I must say it's quite a nice workplace and my eyes have been immediately drawn to a particular lovely pinup lady in a picture

Very intricate work on it Barry.

Your left side armor is now complete and it lookks marvellous! just like a real thing!

Nice workshop you got there Barry. I dont have one yet. At the moment, just makeshift workbench here and there.
had some in the garage, but too cold during winter. Some in my dungeon

Thank you for the complementary words Nexusys.
It takes about and hour per pair of tiles to drill and place rivets and bolts.
My work shop has taken me nearly 50 years to get to where I had a dedicated room with the space and tools need. It is really nice to have things out where I can use them without having to rearrange half the shop, makes things so much easier.
