At the latest meeting, wooly brought along some excellent dragon's teeth tank traps he had made. I offered to give them the treatment that I meted out to other pieces of scenery. Here is stage 1 - a little bit of modest contouring, topped off with some earth.

Once the filler has dried, some thinned down PVA to bind in the earth, then a judicious application of static grass. If it turns out OK, I will do the other two sets.

Stage 2. Long static grass applied. when I came to grass it, I found I was completely out of the shorter grass. Unfortunately, I never seem to have quite the same success with the longer stuff. It's supposed to stand up fairly straight, but mine never does. I've tried 3 different applicators, all with the same result. Anyway, I hope it will pass muster.

Looking good Richard as always. I seem to recall from my model railway days that you can get grass to stand upright by rubbing a toy balloon to generate static, and then wafting it over the plastic grass.
