Hi Will, I would be more willing to part with my hard earned if they accepted "Pay-Pal",
They are very attractive items that do appeal to me.
BUT :lolno:
Shaun.

I've used aliexpress many times and paid with a credit card and I've never had any trouble. They have buyer protection on par with ebay.

Have you checked the prices? For front and rear axles and two driveshafts it's well over $100.

It works out at just under £40 but that's with freepost which is a substantial saving,
Although it is a bit silly when you can get a complete truck for £25ish :haha:
But if you look at the price of just metal axles for other R/C trucks some are priced at £300 + in 1/10 so we should be happy with what is on offer in 1/16 I suppose. :lolno:
Shaun.

You must be getting a much better deal in the UK than I am in Detroit. For me they want $47 for the rear, $49 for the front, and $24 for two driveshafts, that's $120 USD, or 86.75 in pounds sterling. Shipping is free, but still. I can get four trucks for that.

Yeah ok they expensive but I was just gonna start with the driveshafts.
What it means is that people.are starting to do better accessories and I am sure the price will come down.

Hey you guys you saying about you could get more trucks and it way more than the truck worth, but we do the same thing on our tanks Haha! :)

I think set a 50-70mm x 3mm will work perfect on the trucks.
The original is 57-67mm on our trucks. Yet.to measure driveshaft diameter though. Where's my vernier!

Cheap but shipping expensive

For any of you planning to buy the WPL DIY Gaz truck, I have just started sorting out the parts to build mine into the Diamond T and have found that the supplied motor doesn't fit the gearbox, and the cog for the motor is missing from the kit. I strongly advise if you are planning to do a special build to pay the extra and get the RTR version for an extra £3 and then you know you are getting all the correct parts and it will be complete - I wish I had >:< :silent:

Makes me laugh as I bought a few kits and found parts missing. Chassis rails not included!
Also noticed the motor is too long as it hits the driveshaft.
I have however cut the motor shaft down so the cog fits in correct place and turned down the driveshaft so it doesn't rub against the long motor.
The long motor is super torquey but not a good.fit!

The servo does work well however even running 2s.
But yes I do think it is easier to buy rtr and strip and rebuild.
