Not sure if I'm late to the party....
Building a Gaz truck with my son in kit form
The motor supplied in the kit is much larger then the pre built one I've purchased.
Just wanted to share this if anyone hasn't seen it before....
It's the long can version without the orange end.

For each build i have put into a seperate thread to give further details. But i have to say i for one love these little trucks. They just open up a word of possibilities for not very much cash. Some of you guys builds are awesome and its great to see as it inpires my next one.

Some pics to follow but I made alloy chassis for a trailer and now just making a steel axle. Leaf springs and it should be good to go.

Have anyone tested the long motor vs the short one?
I could use some more power without adding top speed, for my little truck.

I found a video on YouTube where a guy had 3D printed a mount that holds 2 small geared motors.
I ordered a couple of these motors & printed myself a holder.
Have a look...



I’ll give it a try when I get chance, they’re only tiny motors though..

I was thinking something very similar for the Prototype build I doing at the moment. Need a lot more grunt
