Another bit of advice on track hangers.
As you can see on real tanks, the top run of track was about a track segment below the roof, thus positioning the bottom row even with the height of the front hull roof, this issue is, if the front hull roof is not in correct proportion, this will lift all the hanger positions and make them too high- like mine are.
I worked out that if I held a single segment of track(the one with the drive tooth slot) in line with the lower line of the chamfered roof edge and then set the hanger hook to hold a segment below that- it would have been right.

Not sure how in proportion yours is, so it may need to be worked out to be correct.
A little thing, but one that irks me now for not picking up and correcting.
Herman thanks for more great adviseImage ( as usual) I will keep this trick in mind and hope that mine come out nearly as nice as yoursImage
Tanks alot....

Appreciate it Mr Hugill, its far from rivet-perfect, but its going to be a reasonable representation of one.
I'm will admit to being a nervous wreck about the paint though :S

Got there in the end Mr Wolf...........still a bit to do, but now its in my hands not that of the electronic demons :/
Its quite fortunate that its not a full metal colossus as it would be very hard to get right.

Herman I'm very interested... What paint camoflouge design have you been considering for this monster? Any chance of a preview picture that you have on hand or a link to a picture you are using for inspiration....Image

This one in fact.

If I can go even a quarter as good, I will die happy.

Herman that is a beautiful looking design. I'm confident that you will be able to complete it Notice the exhaust heat shield on the one exhaust pipe? That is the design I was looking to replicate on my Jagdtiger. Really impressed with the choice of camoflouge. The fellow won an award with it from "Long Island" if it's Long Island New York....I will be there with my family celebrating Easter this weekend

Keep up the awesome work

It sure is worthy of an award.
Mine is going to be the 'Narita' pattern, but with the primer transitioning up from the under-guard line like this pic........
