Top-notch, Herman! It looks imposing as hell in all one colour, and it's impressive how you really get a sense of the size of the thing.

Amazing work Herman

Are there perhaps too many spare track hanging brackets on the hull ? (I'm sure you have a photo though to back it up :D )

The early versions had only 4 sets of spare track hangers, where the late versions had six.
Lates also had no side mounted track pulling cables(these were wrapped around the right side ventilator on the engine deck) no jack(no point having a 20 ton jack for such a heavy vehicle) and no jack block.
Lates also had Pilzen sockets(for the roof crane) and extra handles, along with cut down corners on the casemete rear just below each of the corner periscopes.
Mine wont have the cut corners as the material is too thin, and I will decide on the Pilzen.(its not too late even in primer.)

Heres a pic showing the extra track hangers full.

Oh, and the tow hitch on the rear.

Mr Herman so glad you posted this information. I just so happens I received my Schumo track holders kit for my Jagdtiger project todayImage Ive seen both versions and wasn't sure about the story behind the three sets of hangers versus two sets per side. Image Image

Nice jewelry mate..............
Another bit of advice on track hangers.
As you can see on real tanks, the top run of track was about a track segment below the roof, thus positioning the bottom row even with the height of the front hull roof, this issue is, if the front hull roof is not in correct proportion, this will lift all the hanger positions and make them too high- like mine are.
I worked out that if I held a single segment of track(the one with the drive tooth slot) in line with the lower line of the chamfered roof edge and then set the hanger hook to hold a segment below that- it would have been right.

Not sure how in proportion yours is, so it may need to be worked out to be correct.
A little thing, but one that irks me now for not picking up and correcting.

Thanks mate, yes it does cut an imposing presence when next to other Tanks.
The barrel is just ridiculously big , like a bloody battleship's !!
