Did you end up doing a diorama base for her?

Great thread Herman, I don't remember seeing an ice rink on the Gold Coast when I was there with my daughter last year.
I suppose the Blue Mountains is too far for you to go for you

Got started but gave it up. Had too many tanks to do so put the work into them.
I could get going on it again though, I still have the bits.

There are two here mate, but I hazard a guess that would not appreciate me fart-assing arond taking pics of a tank on the rink just to get an ice backdrop !!
Although, soon it will be hot enough here that it might drive me into one anyway
The Blue Mountains are a bit of a drive-yes.............nice- but holy crap a long way to go for a picture
