Guys their has been little Joy concerning this Tiger,from Day one to this month 31 it has been constant problems. But one thing I must comment on,Adrian has been a sport and really has been one of the few pleasant experiences about this build.

Working on my bike today and the fedx truck pulled up and presented me with 210 Armortek Tiger Tracks and a set of Drive sprockets. Now maybe this build is worth the effort,I have also to thank Johnf AND Sassgrunt for their support and some fine parts. Seems I have some work ahead..

Did you get the tapered bearings to fit them to the shafts? Good luck with fitting them.

I've sent Blake the details of the taper lock bushes, as the size needed will depend upon the diameter of drive shafts he builds into the Tiger.

Unfortunately, the fitting instructions seem to have been lost in the Armortek web site redesign but I'm sure they'll be back up soon.

I'm lucky their as well,Mike was able to send me a copy of the early tiger manual and the people at Armortek sent me the new assembly manual.

Today I shot some pictures that give scale to the parts as compared between 1/6 and 1/16. Also thanks Adrian for the information and the trouble you have gone to on my behalf,very kind sir. Blake

Those tracks and sprockets look great. Did you get some motors. I am working on a king tiger restoration at present and it has an interesting gear box. Mark 1 base but with full heavy weight upper hull and turret.

John if you have a chance post some pictures of the drive system, also I will be sending you a message about the other project.

Thanks Cliff,it has been a ride,I'm in to deep to quit,but the cost of the finale project is getting very costly.The latest bad news are the Early road wheel set,Hans ordered them for me months back,and F.O.A. here in the states kept delaying not only my order but several,then they just advised Hans they would not be shipping any parts orders.

My suspension design was based on their wheel set,with the intention of marketing the suspension as an upgrade for the straight axle F.O.A.Tanks,and possibly fund my desire to have the Jagdpanther they offer.

Ive chosen the 24v scooter drive motors with the flat 4-bolt base mounts,using a #25 chain drive system. Well thats where I'm at,I have so many parts for this tank,it could be a really nice Tiger. East Coast Armor does offer a wheel set but at 735.00 us they are pricey,and their resin.
