I understand that technique, My advantage is weight and size. I'm 5'11 and weight at 168 then and now the same. Like my friend from the picture Stan on the FJ1100 was a big guy and I could leave quicker and he just could not close the gap, He did not understand how I pulled him on the top end,Power to weight. In the corners it was a shorter wheel base but the Turbo is really bad about hazing the rear wheel.

Dragon's Tail is very commercial now but back in the day it was a Ghost race track, meaning you would run at night. This way the road can be used on both sides as you see the headlights coming from down the mountain, it really is a challenge at night but in many ways better and higher speeds are possible. But now with all the commercial stuff and people you have to be careful of harming the other s

Hey Dee !!
You look like 'Ghost Rider'.. Do you go abroad to Sweden much :haha: ....check out his videos on Youtube.....This is just one example of him 'Playing with the Police'..or Polis as it says on their car ! Ghost rider speeds away slows down to let the Polis catch up and then accelerates away again and again !!....I have to ask WTF are the Polis doing chasing a 200MPH Motorbike in a 4 wheel drive Volvo ?? If you don't watch the whole 5.35 Minutes then just watch the last 20 seconds.....The Polis, desperate to make up ground on the biker come in WAY TOO FAST up to a give way line....straight across the road and get the rear 3/4 panel of their Volvo 'Panel Beaten' by another car on the main road....appaling driving by the Polis!!!

Mind you the Biker may be living on borrowed time...BUT...He IS very good on the bike !!!

Forgive my assertion that you had a wreck,I should have looked closed. I to have disassembled the Turbo bike again. Let me know if you need some parts as I have many contacts on the planet including the UK Owners group.

Hope all works out, cheers Blake
