Hi Nick I will post one later mate . Its very rought as it was just to see if it could be done. I did try and soldier the scoops to a brass plate but my soldiering irons not fine enougth . Then I though may be re make the centre piece of the track . But I think your idea sounds more parctical mate .

Hi Nick heres the rougth press I made I doubt it will make many and would be better made from something more substancial . Its plywood with steel inserts.

Ahh thats what I couldnt figure out how to do. Great Job Andy I think thats the way ahead. Im settling for cleat free tracks Until I know Ive got it running ok but you've definetly sussed it there.

Hi Nick , Thanks mate , just have to see how many it will make before it gives way . Can always make something stronger . I used brass strip for the the scoops . I like the suspension route thats the way to go to.

Hi Andy, I like your idea of how to form the track cleats. I am using plastic track from a Walker Bulldog on mine, and was thinking of heating the cleat with a soldering iron and melting it into the track pad, cooling it down and then running some CA around it for additional strength. I like Nicks suspension also and will be copying it when I get a chance.

Herman I tried the heating trick with my trial cleat on the Pnz 3 track. Worked better if you cut a thin groove first. With cyano it felt quite strong but I. Don't know about durability. Read that the real thing only had like 200 track miles before replacement, so I don't think our models will endure too much off the beach tanking ?

Hi green Amphibian. Thanks mate , its a realy easy method it doesnt take to long to knock them out just seems like theres loads to do . Pluss Im suffering from back problems so that doesnt help. The melting in idea seams a good idea and possibly as Nick sugested cut a slot . Im not planning on running mine on to much concreate . Theres a large park not to far from me , it has several lakes . One in particular has a length of sand leading into the water . So once Ive tested it Im hopping to use that for the photos . But Im a long way of that . I to hopefully will use Nicks suspennsion idea . And your track tensioner idea . Im realy looking forward to seeing all these running . Be good if they were all together . Im guessing your in the US tho ?
