I've managed some more shed time and with the help of the lads we've started to offer up the schuerzen.
As you can see lads couldn't wait to help with the carrying.

And the hanging.

More hands and all that.

And a little larking around.

and the result looks good.

I've taken it off again as I now can see what the instructions ment so white metal pads stuck on.

P.S. Two more white metal handles replaced with copper ones :)

Fantastic, one of the chaps near to me started a 1:16 Hetzer project must be 3 years ago, I dare say we'll see them (If memory serves he was doin at least 3) in the fullness of time as he's always got a lot of projects on the go, but now he''s retired so he will have more time on his hands, anyway I'm rambling, superb Andy, we'll look forward to your progress on this.

Its finally gone away for painting, but it has made a few meets, including the UKTC BBQ at Muckleburgh, and the Ardwell Proving Grounds (APG).

It will be 3 colour camo with spots, and fingers crossed it will be ready for my next APG visit in August, I have chickened out of the painting as I've not painted owt bigger or more complicated than a plastic project box, and the excersie was to prove I could actually make something and it run, and to be frank I don't want to spoil it with a poor paint job, so Skippy at the East Yorkshire Tank Works, has offered to do this one for me.

Hi mate thanks for your comments . Im going to try the spotty cammo , not sure what its called . Not the ambush type . Cromptons Hetzers done in the design I meen. However I will look forward to seeing this sprayed . I did see these 1:6 tanks on the website . And I think the Hetzers one of the best . As for 1:16 , theres a guy in the States who has made one with Tamiya internals . Unforuntally Im out of work :'( at the mo so it will be the HL RX18 set up . Ive got a recoiling barrel fitted but it will only elevate :'( .

all the best and good luck with the spraying mate Andy

No Skippy is quite good at the update pictures, I'll be sure to post them up as I get them.
