Of course bolting the metal wheels to the existing HL chassis demands new suspension arms or swapping to the Taigen metal/ABS lower hull. I went for the latter, as the last time I encountered torsion bars was on the 1970 Beetle in which I passed my licence and they worked pretty well in that application!

Here's the new lower hull as I installed the front axle support bearings Admittedly I started to question how much of the original HL Tiger would remain by the time this was done? Here are two items that were carried over, suitably filled and with lifting points added:

Nice rear end! Yeah I aimed for a more angled shape, the photos don't show it too well, but I think I may have to give them some more attention. Thanks for your advice mate

The way I did the exhausts

That's a superb idea with the angled profiles Rob. I'll have to redo mine in the future. Nice detailing too on the rear wall of your hull. What I love about these very early Tigers is that no two are identical. The one in the BW pic above has so few fittings on the back, that's the look I'm aiming for
