There are some close-up details. The next step before painting is to assemble wheel carts and put them in.

Tanker929 wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 5:05 pm That looks great! I've started building this one myself, but as a non-RC, scale 1:16 conversion. The tracks in the photo are 1:16, the turret however is 1:10 - as a test project for filaments. I'll start my own thread as soon as I'm picking up this project again. I'll be coming back here for inspiration on your finishing choices & techniques.
Thanks :)
Is the turret printed with filament as well? It looks good.
To be honest, I'm not sure about this model in 1/16, too many small details.
Also model is great in general, but I found some small details are not so accurate. If you want an accurate scale model, there are some tweaks that need to be done.
Luckily, I bought a 1/16 Tacom model a few years back for the static scale model.
Yes, also printed. Lucky indeed on that Takom model, because I can't find it anymore. I have similar static kits for reference for the Pz I, Pz II, Pz 38(t), ... but not the FT17.

Btw, really impressed with your finishing, looks great!

I've got Pz 38(t) in 1/10 from Luboš. I'll build it sometime next year. What model do you have as the reference for Pz 38(t)?

The last time someone asked about the Takom FT17 we found out that Takom had no plans to make any more in the near future. It's basically discontinued so if someone finds one for a decent price and wants one they should buy it before they are all completely gone. I picked one up myself.

I'm using ABS for parts with a lot of detailing, and PETG for parts under load. Nylon for gear wheels, just because I've got filament in my stash.
All other stuff in Luboš''s manual I've got from Aliexpress.
Only thing I would suggest, to use Shaft Pins to connect trak links -https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007 ... 21%211%210

Also, instead of cutting a brass rod for wheel axles, you can use those pins ( for hatches too) - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007 ... 21%211%210

Thank you for response , I found the pins
You need only 8 mm lenght or you need longer pins in construction?
Also what electronics you use on your build?
I found the servos on aliexpress
I intend to buy a heng long 7.1 board and remote
Kind regards
Daniel
