A barrel smoke breakthrough................of sorts.
I looked at many sets of instructions for this thing and pictures show an MFU with 2 smoke power sockets in it on the very last page.
The MFU in this tank does not have 2 power sockets, only one. I do not know why this is, but it is.
So, you can have the exhaust smoke working when its plugged in, or, (not and) the stray JST plug under the turret ring is power for the turret mounted barrel smoke unit.
Controlled off the same switch (right hand side) of the Tx. Take one out-put the other in.
Turned it on, turned on the BB safety switch, wait, fired, got smoke out the barrel and a BB so it does work.
I did have to add fluid into the fill tube.
The filler tube is tucked back into the rear turret hatch, but I did leave the switch for it(hiding under the turret drive ring) -in the on position.
The BB safety switch is in the off position.
Please understand Mr Crusher that smokers in all our models are fickle and work until they dont.

most of us dont like or use them.
I am now satisfied that this Torro works as it should, apart from the original Tx having a busted starter switch that I still need to sort out for you.
The gearbox (s) work well and it has been trimmed to run straight. (that black knob on the Tx is the trim.)
I am off to Port Macquarrie on Thursday with the family & its 238kms from Maitland, if you want to come & get it, I will take it with me.
If not, I will see about the broken Tx switch & post it back once its sorted after I get back.
P.S, the silver you have put on it is not my vibe, but its not my Tank !!
It works mate, it works
