Hello
I may have missed something but you can slow the Stuart down. It’s on page 4 (the high lighted section) using K button and the joysticks. What it doesn’t say is the switch F1 needs to be up in the fast mode.
Also the turret speed can be adjusted the same way.

Genius David! Genius!

A few months ago I tried all of those cryptic adjustments for the stuart and they either rendered the tank undriveable, or had little to no effect on anything.

The K + sticks amplitude function adjustment just wouldn't do a thing, but I was always trying it in "simulation" slow mode. Just tried it in F1 "fast" mode as you outlined, and adjusted it to the cyan colour (20-40%) and jackpot! Lowered speed over the stick travel range. A bit more fiddling to see how it does at 5-15% and get the right/left stick adjusted down as well.

Many, many thanks for the incredibly brilliant trick. Works a charm! I like my Stuart again!

You rock David!

Mike.

Postscript--adjusting the turning function really transforms the fun of driving the M5. Only weird thing is that reverse is still jackrabbity fast, while forward is slowed a lot. Still, a massive improvement in driving control!

You've got quite the start on a British division there. I just loaded up on British paint colors to start painting mine.

There are actually two sand colors. I grabbed them from MRP, but the MRP paints are airbrush only as they are pre-thinned. MRP-337 BSC No.61 Light Stone and MRP-338 BSC No.64 Portland Stone. I'm using MRP-337 BSC No.61 Light Stone on the Crusader with MRP-348 SCC No.14 Blue Black as the dark color. My Matilda will be getting the Caunter paint scheme using the Portland Stone. Some of my S.C.C. Brit paints are from AK Real Color. The light stone is actually a more tan paint than the Portland stone. The Portland stone is more of a light khaki color. From my research, both the light stone and Portland stone were used on the Crusader, but I went with the light stone because I was painting the Matilda with the Caunter scheme using the Portland stone. I just wanted a little more variety for my British tanks as there are bunch of them that were just painted single colors in S.C.C. 15 like the Cromwell, Comet, and Churchill.

And to confuse things more, the Brits came up with another light stone post war: "BSC No.361 Light Stone: Not the wartime colour, but a new colour introduced in 1948 by the British Army for Middle East use."
