Thank you guys!
I purchased this StuG back in 2020 or so, maybe 2019.
Rebuild it, added the Saukopf, aluminum Schurzen, brass brackets, brass Railing on the motordeck, metal MG shield, metal hatches above the gearboxes, sprayed it in Dunkelgelb and that was it.
Lots of projects (and almost finished projects) after this StuG, because I could not find a proper camo scheme, which I liked.
Until this one showed up, a few days ago.
This is my 5th StuG and by far the best one I ever rebuild.
Some stuff is not available anymore right now, like the Atak Zimmerit and the Atak Zusatzpanzerung I added to this beauty!
So, now this project is almost finished, finally, I can proceed with my other StuG with the Winterketten.
Still have to paint the tools, and other minor stuff to complete it, and finally I will take some outdoor shots.
In fact, this is a brand new StuG, it never even run a single inch! When I bought it, I was rebuilding the house we live in today. Started rebuilding this assault gun when time was available, so no clue if it will run...or not....
There must be a build thread on here too....
Anyway...
Until then,
Rob.

There is such a gap on all StuGs between the gunmantled and superstructure.
On one of my other StuGs I added a tarp on top of it, on this StuG with the Saukopfblende I didn‘t want to cover that up.
I had another solution made a while ago but during my paintsession it broke!
So I had to make a new one:

By now we reached the end of this long build!
Was fun to do and I am more than satisfied with the result in the end!
So for the last time a few pics of the finished model.
CU at my next thread about my StuG with Winterketten!
Rob.

Came out great. What material did you use for the tarp?
