As I plan on re-painting the tank at some point when any modifications are completed I thought it would be easier to make the sandbags removable rather than having to mask around them for painting so hence making them in one piece

I haven't opened it up yet to take any photos of the interior, I'm not planning on changing anything inside at the moment so I'll let it be until I get a few other projects completed

How are all the accessory bits and add-ons? The rear hull tools looked pretty lame, but what do you think of the rest, he asks, living vicariously through others?

Coleman, I'd say that the details and accessories are no better or worse than many of their competitors, could they be better? ( damn straight ) would most people be prepared to pay £100+ for the privilege? ( hell no ) that's where the diecast market fills the gap. As with the majority of the models/toys available I suppose it comes down to manufacturing costs and useabilty, if they were covered in P.E and brass they would be a lot more expensive and we'd all be moaning when things break off, the handles along with the majority of the other add-on items are a tad bit chunky but nothing that can't be fixed and what most of us enjoy tinkering with anyway, on the plus side many parts are separate so there's no hacking them off to replace, hope this helps

It sounds really good and there must be some little things we can fix and change ourselves, isn't that on all models?
Very much looking forward to receiving mine in the next 3-4 weeks.
And.. Damm.. the sandbags looks so good, I'm sure when you've painted the last they'll be 100%

Whoopie! Mine is on its way. I will stick with an all-plastic one for starts, but I lust after metal! metal! metal! After all, I really need that for running three minutes on my carpeted living room or basement floor.
Can the hedgerow cutter be easily removed without major surgery?
