Thanks mate, Im relieved you like it.
Roadwheel tires are refitted, and I swapped some out that had lost a bit of suppleness.
Tracks are on, now weathering can begin.

Looks awesome back together! Do you think you can freehand the number on the front of the lower hull the reference one had?

This is going to be very very difficult to stuff in a box and send away, but like all things, if you love something-set it free.................. :lolno:

Unless Mr Hugill has other thoughts, Im going to call this done.
At the start I was a bit in the mindset of "this is W.O.T./gaming " fantasy, but once I started really getting into the background of the conflict, it grew on me very fast.
Operation Peace For Galilee was a short but vicious scrap, in largely tank-unfriendly terrain.
Keeping in mind this T34/85 would have been 38 years old at the time of Lebanon 1982, so it had already run its race. :O
A credit to its design fundamentals that it was in action at all.
Simplicity, reliability and numerous...............with a good gun & respectable armour.

I like the camo scheme and how its turned out.
A light tan filter, some thin rust wash, a bit of diesel staining and its taken on the look & feel of a 38 year old warhorse in a pretty harsh environment.
While its not perfect, I reckon Mr Hugill will be very happy with it as am I.

Righteous airbrushing! The T34 lemon lime swirl is such a great variation...and a new Ben and Jerry's flavour!
I do like the very subtle arid-area weathering. How do you keep it so "dry" looking? As soon as I rattle can spray a matte sealer it might be flat, but the tank always looks slightly "wet", if you know what I mean. Are you airbrushing a matte sealer for a lighter, more refined final coat? Really looks the biz!
And about the fuel tank dents. I'm assuming heat and time honoured skill from experience gets you those, but any technique hints? Mine tend to like the Nazi dude whose face melts off when he sees the Arc of the Covenant in the first? third? eighth?, Indiana Jones flick.
To summarize--beautiful tank!
Mike.
