For the screws, you sometimes have to sacrifice a small screwdriver, in order to adapt it to the type of screw, sometimes, and with a bit of luck, you can do it with a normal mini screwdriver
Thanks.

If I may trouble you to take a look at the photo I posted, it seems there is no way for a screwdriver to latch on to something. There are no grooves on the head of the screw.

:) Hello, seeing your photo? Wouldn't these be "Allen keys with spherical heads"? You can always try by sacrificing a small flat screwdriver (file it in width to obtain just the right size? Or find a set of keys, like the attached photo
because it would seem that there is a slight flat on the circumference?

Indeed, looks like alen bolts to me too.
But when you buy a set of tools to get them out, be aware that there are 2 different ones available:
1. metric size
2. inches.
Maybe you have to take the tank to a shop where they sell car parts/tools, so they can check/try if the bolts are in inches or metric.

Thanks, @jofaur86 and Rob59.

Really appreciate your patience in helping me out. 😌

I guess there's really no harm in trying to use an allen key or hex key.

I've been thinking about this after your earlier suggestions -- I have decided to return it because -- on top of the battery being inside the chassis -- the bigger issue is the tank also arrived with some damage. I was thinking of trying to fix it (hence the need to open up the chassis), but after some thought, I decided a new purchase should not arrive damaged and it would be better to just to have it replaced or get a refund.

To give you an idea of the damage:

This is supposed to be brand new. 😔

Thanks again for all the advise, most appreciated!

Oh yes, still bad carrier, or bad packer? but the result is the same. I think that the return and collection by the seller is the best solution. Have a good week

I am really not sure if it's the carrier or the packer at fault. The Styrofoam broke near the part where the tank broke, so could be mishandling during shipment. But when I consider that they opened the tank to put the battery inside, makes me think it could be a problem when they reassembled or repacked it.

Thank you for your good wishes, hope you have an amazing week as well!

It might have even turned in by a previous buyer, and they just sold it again.
Who knows.
I hope you can return it and get your money back.

:headbang: As Rob says, possible return following damage to opening, put back in stock, without checking? and hop sends next order, given the state of the polystyrene and the tank, the packaging cardboard must have also suffered? otherwise? indeed, attempted fraud? the installation of the battery should have been seen
It should be taken back, if possible. :wtf:
