hi andy i cut off the running boards and side lights i have the doors made was looking for hinges but couldnt find any small enough so ill glue them in place instead

hi andy what do you think would be best color to paint the canopy, still few bits to do yet like doors / mg mount to go in back and some decals also i think the 1/18th figures are slightly to big for these trucks

Chris, vallejo do "canvas" colour ( no 314) in their panzer aces range which looks good funnily enough as canvas, I just shaded dark grey underneath for the creases etc and sprayed it on top. I used it on the canopy for the indiana truck.

i think that canvas paint might be to dark for afrika korp maybe if i darken desert yellow what do you think have been looking for color pics not found any decent ones yet

Dunno mate, if its a DAK version the canopy is going to be pretty sunbleached and sand blasted so if anything I would lighten whichever colour you're going to use tbh.

I didn't take any pictures of the build itself, it didn't take long enough .

All I used was a 3ft length of 1.5mm diameter piano wire, and a strip of thin saran wrap from a parcel I received recently

Not too sure about the colour of the canvas yet, but it was the best I had available to me at the time... O.O
