Yeah it's hard to buy Tamiya these days and Hooben E8 sucks. Well, firstly I want to have one of every ww2 front - already have Soviet Emcha, now making one from Western Europe (plus fictional from Kelly's Heroes). My friend is making two Polish M4A2 from Africa and Italy so probably Pacific Sherman will be next.

I totally understand, that's why I'm converting a I love kit M4A3E8 to RC and the suspensions are working just fine, they are strong enough for RC use. Im not sure the tracks and sprocket would last but maybe HL M26 ones could work to keep the cost low ? I'll try that if they fail.

Anyway you have an awesome Sherman collection !

There are a few folks 3D printing HVSS suspension systems for Shermans so maybe one of those could be in your future.

No progress yet (it's too cold in the shop), but I do have a commander. It comes from the Andy's Hobby Achilles set. Slightly modified to fit the hatch. He also received a hand transplant.

Yes I'm positive I could do the Classic Heng Long Hans Google Eyes.

It's ok to NOT paint the eyeballs. Most of the times dark wash and black dot is enough.

Yea I never finished this guy but all I did was use streaking grime and wipe it off-
