Thaks guys. Appreciate it. I have been busy on two Pocher 1.8 Alfa's which take time away from the JP.

Mattdragon: about the pic of JP. That's what I originally thought! But the white wash looks too splotchy, it has an antenna AND it has the optics on top of castle. How many real JP look like sh*t (all rusty) AND have all the optics and antenna. Also, the wire cable looks more scale like than real....

I agree about the grass...that's why I was thinking 1/6 scale.  It is a really good model or real one either way! ??? ???

Got tracks on. I put them on with the hinges protected in foward direction. Most came out of the factory opposite way, but I have seen them both ways.

Video shows weighted with lead weighting and 3:1 reduction. Speed is very lifelike, especially turing with one track. Motors and gears very strong. No problem navigating one inch tall objects.

weight: about 16lbs. Weighs so much AND so much torque from motors, the hull was flexing. So I added som triangulated supports. Rock stiff now!

Gun retraction mechanism. Building with modification of the RCCommand build

Also, got the flash to work. Flash fires and carriage jumps slightly now (due to reduced gear ratio)..Looks good.

hmm witha  larger scale 1/6 - 1/4 you could be right, but i still think it looks like a real one!! :D :D

great work on the re-coil mate.

Oh yeah, I agree. It does look real. I just can;t exactly tell which is what bothers me.

Just have to get some micro switches to run the flash and track recoil motion (brown / yellow trigger wire on flash cable...found out by saying to myself....'hmmm...wonder what happens when I cross the brown and yellow wires")

HAve to post the vid...
