Perfect candidate for 1/10 (or 1/6). I rest my case.

Nice! Hooben supposedly working on the 251 as one of their next 1/10 releases. Am sure your father's probably outweighs whatever they offer by a factor of 3.

Well, Hoobens probably wouldn't be full metal

Althou I would like 1/16 Sdkfz 250 and 251. Even as static kit.

I'd be surprised if the overall metal content hits 10-15% including motors & gearbox. Now if you want to measure PLA & ABS..

My 251 has metal chassis bracing, if possible i may introduce petg supports and the 1/6 version i want to use aluminium laser cut panels braced with petg bulkheads.
Otherwise most of the body etc will be pla/styrene

In Eastern Europe this scale is still popular. Look at this 1:10 Panther made in Ukraine. It's a beauty.

Well I have a 1/10 scale Morris Quad and I was looking for action figures to 1/10 scale with not a lot of success.
Then I found this
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:116571
I have scaled it to 40% and printed it out and it looks to be the correct size, and am currently battling to try and put it together, when scaled some of the joints don't come out too well so it's a case of redesigning some bits as I go and doing some fiddling and filing. I do have some hope for this but it really requires someone more dexterous than me with considerably more patience.
I will post an update when (if ever) I manage to put it together.
Alwyn
