The rivet counters, had a wee moan about the roof conduit being incorrect. So I needed to make a more accurate representation.

does it say "Poo" on the rear deck there?

Yes it does. It was for teaching purposes. Letting my nephew graffiti things helps him to learn to spell.
Now as many of you know, I am incompetent. I would like to join HDP Make Modelling Mediocre Group. However it is a tad far to travel, and secondly they are probably too good, and I would lower their standards.
The reason for this self deprecation? Guess who managed to install the main gun, sometime last October, upside down? Only just realised. The gun fume extractor should be on the top. It will be interesting to sort.

You are well qualified to join us, Ian. Upside down, backwards, inside out, spilled paint (the same bottle, three times in a row), wrinkled decals, runs under the masking tape, too much popcorn, chips, sausage, pumpkin pie, cookies, brownies etc.--all these and many more are among our accomplishments.
And, of course, the terrifying carpet-and-or-concrete-floor monster joins us regularly.

Well anyone who has never made a mistake has never done anything.

HDP. Thank you for making me laugh, when I read about your groups accomplishments. Not to sure about the popcorn, pumpkin pie, cookies (biscuits), and brownies. Sausage and chips though. Hmmmmm.
Mr Bix. So very true.
Anyway. As it happens it was a simple fix. Take off turret top. Disconnect the recoil mechanism, flip the barrel over, drill and tap a new fixing for the recoil mechanism. The turret needed to come off for painting, and fixing the tools on the rear deck. So it all worked out.

Getting close to finishing my Leopard 1A5 DK. The EMES18 needs installation, as does the turret machine gun, as does remaining wiring. The headlight lenses, and some detai on the rear panel will be fitted after paint.
Rear deck tools.
Rear panel. Needs some smoothing.
