That is a great Nashorn. Looks great in primer, but I eagerly await the finished product!

Buzz Lightyear looks impressed!
There is so much detail going on with that vehicle that it's hard to concentrate on just one spot. Stellar, just stellar!

Some time ago I got some some resin printed fingers off a chap called brad James on Facebook, he was mega helpful and actually resized a couple to better fit the nashorn. I had a bit of a painting sprue before and just after my youngest was born, bought a wet pallet, new brushes, daylight bulbs for my desk lamp and then didn't paint anything for 2 years!

Well I finally managed to pull my finger out, find my painting stuff in the mess that is my garage and get a painting area setup on my work desk.

For these I bought the Vallejo uniform grey set and the army paint rose flesh triad set. The Vallejo set comes with a really good step by step guide so I'm following that best as I can. So far I've based the figures and done the first highlight. On the gunner I've gotten carried away and done a couple more layers, so far so good!

I like those figures, Tom. They are in useful poses, but are not so loaded with equipment that it is impossible to get into and under all sorts of stuff to paint (a problem I am facing just now with two WWII 101 Airborne figures). Although I have the various Vallejo WWII German uniform colors, I might just get the "German Field Gray" set, as I can always use more paints and the instructions could be a help, too. I also enjoyed the great help your spelling checker gave you: "resin printed fingers" "a bit of a painting sprue." I love puns, and spell-checkers often come up with better ones than I can think up. Come to think of it, resin printed fingers just might be useful, as I have often had to replace broken fingers on 1/16 figures.

One remark, if allowed.....
Please, since you took the tracks off for the paintjob, put them back on in the right way.
In all the previous pics, they were mounted backwards!
If you look at the tracklinks from the side, you can notice one part of the tracklink is kind of sloped, and the other side is straight. The straight part of the tracklinks must face foreward, towards the front of the vehicle.
Added a pic of one of my Panzer IV‘s showing that you put yours on backwards.
