If you don’t mind I would like to copy your towing pin model. It looks very good and I don’t know how I missed that when you first posted it but I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve my Tiger and your thread gives me ideas.

Hi Jimster No problem but don't thank me, picked this up on one of hotte8487 builds
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10054&hilit=hotte He is the one to check out for tiger builds even if his is a late tiger1 . His builds don't just appear , everything is explained with good pics of the building technique. Still got to finish the tow pin ,keep on breaking tiny drills trying to drill the hole for the retaining pin below the tow hitch

Hi, Are you using a Pin vice ?
If you are using a Pin Vice and the Bits are still breaking might I suggest an alternative,
Clamp a Small Dressmakers Pin in a set of grips(The kind of pin you find holding a new shirt in its box) then heat it up and push it in to the plastic/ABS,
Pull it straight out or it will stick in place.

Sorry Ronnie I forgot
Using a small modeling file flatten the area to be drilled then using a centre punch tap a hollow into the rod and using your pin vice drill the hole.

1st go at getting cable correct length, just too long.

- 1st go at hangers, cable is too long and some hangers need adjusted.

Cable fitted clamps made but don't like the cable ends , need to find out who sells them.

- loop and crimped end not very good.

- At least the adjustable fixing is ok.

I did mine with a section of aluminium tube that had the cable ends inserted & then crimped with a small pair of pliers.
The profile of the pliers made a fairly uniform crush on the tube & a bit of a file & sand, jobs on.
Your adjustable termination end is very cool. I omitted mine, and its too late to go back.
