Next up!

The red circles are holes I filled with Milliput because they had no use
After filling and re-sanding:
Maybe this is why I love Armortek so much: I don't have much patience and I am not very subtle, and these tanks can handle it all haha!

I always and ONLY use Vallejo Acrylic Matt Varnish (left on the photo). It never failed me. But at the model show NOBODY had any in stock!
Given the fact that I use AK Interactive products a lot too, I bought two cans of their varnish...

OMG! This is 'protective'?!?

Can you see if this acrylic? Most likely not...

It leaves a finish that's pretty rough. I wonder how 1/35 scale modellers handle this?
I stopped using these and ordered cans of Vallejo Acrylic Matt Varnish on the internet

So. For the shading what’s the best way?

Well YouTube is full of usefull examples:
Simply put, what I do is take a darker color and spray (low pressure, low flow) into corners, along edges, around all the parts, shaping it all by shading.
The DIFFERENCE from the video's above is most people do this before they paint the final color so it becomes some sort of underlying shading, I do it afterwards.

(hence why I use 'a darker color' and not black).
See this before/after comparisation:

So if I employed your method as the tank I’m doing is the crusader in the TOTM thread as it’s a desert tank the only shading/grime would really be around the hatches handles and fuel caps so could I use let’s say my khaki brown or a dark grey wash applied by brush in those areas then go over the whole thing with the dust wash by airbrush?
