I'd be curious to know how well it drives with the brushless ESCs and which ones you are using if they work well. I experimented with using a brushless motors with the TCB, but the control of the tank was horrible due to the deadbands/reverse delay in the ESCs and I tried several different brushless ESCs.

Hi,
therefore not, the TCB have no ESC onboard.
I almost use in my tanks brushless motors, can drive smoother.
My setup:
Modellspiegel Gearbox with
21,5 turn motor for WWII tank
and 17,5 turn motor for modern faster tank
ESC is SkyRC TORO TS-50
Powerpack 7,2V 5000mAh NiMh or 7,4V 3600mAh 2S Li-Ion

Thanks for the information , have Elmod boards and am still thinking about using a brushless system. My old Tamiya King tiger with the 1 motor /clutch setup has had a temporary repair on the gearbox drive bearings and needs a fix.

Had a look at the comments, 700 USD for the pro version. Prices are creeping up , wonder if Tamiya will bring more models out now. Price difference is falling fast.

That's a lot of tank! Looks good. You could rent it out as a leaf clearer too!

The Exercise Totem Pole Programme and Fire Control Retrofit Programme Upgrade to MK 9C (please correct me if this is not correct)
First i cut some parts from the turret :

After gluing all the parts the turret was primed:
The new louvres of the engine:
The new gun crutch:
