As you say talk to Dave & Frank before doing too much: would it make more sense to pick a non-public location to start with? Also the grass caused a fair few problems so you'd need to prepare the area too.

I want to see 20 hands raised before anybody does anything.

Also, grass will be an issue no matter where you go (other than a golf course ). It has to be at a show of some decription, because people will expect facilities. If another show is willing to give us things like a digger for landscaping, and a big pile of finely sifted soil then great, but that doesn't happen very often...

Personally, I don't expect more than the usual suspects next year, doing the usual things

Such ambition! So go ahead, but that's exactly NOT what l was looking for. Having sort of hijacked this thread, maybe we should start two new ones,
