Small compared to what it could unleash. And to think how inefficient it was, it actually only managed to cause a reaction with a small percentage of its plutonium core.

Quite terrifying to imagine its power, but then think, it's only a tiny drop in the ocean of any cubic inch of our pretty average nothing special sized stars interior, that gives us life rather than take it.

The calculations indicate that of the total weight of 4400 kgs, roughly 700 milligrams of matter was actually destroyed by turning it into nuclear energy.

Wow, that's a very low percentage. I'm sure I read somewhere that old nukes never managed to covert more than 2% of the matter to energy. And they used so much matter to guarantee a sizeable blast.
