Well, I ordered a metre length of each size/diameter from the above eBayer yesterday, was only just over seven quid including shipping.
That'll give me plenty of scope for experimentation
Thank you again jimbo

Can't use PayPal with them, and I don't have credit cards.
Which in a way is handy, for the little more that I pay extra, saves me a huge amount from the temptations of aliexpres

50m Rad, we're not working on 1:1...
Glad you got what you needed Mick, should have you covered for some time to come!
Roy, happy to be of assistance (let me know if the Comet build ever gets too much for your schedule).
I've had to create v2.0, as after heating the fibre to bend into the nooks and crannies away from the gearbox, not a huge amount of light was getting through to the light cluster.
So, the LED is now on silicone 30awg wire and attached directly onto the fibre entering the hull.
It doesn't look brighter, but there are now two distinct points of light.

Made some headway fitting the IR Battle Unit into the turret with some 6mm brass tube and heatshrink for the IR LED and boring out the gunners sight.
Also made up a turret machine gun again from brass tube, a 3mm LED, heatshrink and some dodgy fiber!
And with the Tamiya IR Apple fitted in the cupola.

Very nice jimbo you've done a great job on it

I bought a tiger 1 off the same fella, I collected mine though as I don't live that far away, I saw this one when I was down there but I already had a perishing
Cheers, Lee.

Cheers Lee.
Percy1510 has just posted up his Pershing from the same seller too - he's still got a few more on eBay!
I do *not* need his Leopard...
