Im not asking you to put a photo, but please put a photo. Lol

Hi Rad, I can do better than a photograph,
If you go back a page you will see Roy (43reccereg) has identified the item (B9) as a Turret side door handle and he has kindly downloaded the schematic from Tamiyas PZ4 Plans so you can see what he and I mean.

Lol so that means you fit the door handle in the turret, as bore sight? Yeah, sometimes reading the manual is well worth, lol.
Anyway we all still would
love to see your tanks!

Yes, we most certainly would
Maybe I'll start a poll
I bet it would get more attention and votes than a TOTM
But would Shaun honour the forums decision

Aghh...och, let the poor man be!!!
Shaun converts his (genuinely) encyclopaedia knowledge of modelling, and military history, into fine words- often with relevant links. Many here have derived benefit from them, of that I'm sure. I certainly have.
That should be enough, even though many of us still like our picture books
Hmm.. I bet there are hundreds of others out there who've never posted a pic either.

Maybe a survey?
To Shaun: you're lucky to have had an uncle with a Music shop; and very unlucky that he's now selling harps
I also use gear4music! An excellent outlet!
My dad played the piano 'by ear', and also had a lovely natural (Irish) tenor voice. I think that's where I got my love of my rival hobby: music. It certainly wasn't from my Mum's insistence on watching the 'White Heather Club', nor her swooning over Kenneth McKellar, and Andy Stewart ( wi or wi oot his trews

)....

Weekend update.... fixed the 2nd stuck wheel. This time it too the vice, the big pliers and a hammer
Made new grab rails on the turret from brass as one of the original plastic ones had broken off
Made new brass parts at front of hull (tow shackles?) as originals were broken
Ordered a set of metal tools from forgebear
Added metal working light from forebear and as suggested earlier in this thread used a electronic switch into a spare chanel on the reciever so now the light can be turned on and off from a switch on the transmitter
I couldn’t remove the hook on the turret that is upside down without damaging the part so decided to leave it as it is
I think that I am at the stage where I can paint the dark yellow base coat maybe tomorow night

Cover it with a helmet or some other kind of stowage and call it a day.
