Once I know that it the wheels fit and the chassis works, and I have done all of the brackets and window frames, I'll put the STL's on Pinshape, I put the big builds on there as I get copyright protection from the licence that I can attach to anything that is downloaded. That way I can do it cheaper.

Tyres arrived, so fitted those. Did some window frames, and will use a supermarket salad container for the glass, the frames have a recess to take the panes.
Spare wheel and mount done.
Problem to solve? The nose of the Quad is narrower than the chassis rails. I also have an issue with the HL suspension mounts, they are right on the limit of the rails and foul the bottom of the radiator. Will see what I can do to redesign the chassis and suspension mounts, so that it all fits. The front axle really needs to go forward a few mm just to add to what needs to be done.

After a bit of sitting and staring this new cross member was the simplest and most effective solution. The member slides between the chassis rails, and the front edges of the springs slot into the cross member. I had to remove the leaf springs and swap them over, as well as rotate them 180 degrees.
I might redo it so that they slot into the cross member a bit further forward but as a fix, at least I know it works.

Finally got the bits that I needed to get it running. Servo steering, Bustephedon esc. 3D printed tray for the standard battery and a receiver. Runs silky smooth, but the front wheels rub on full lock, so I'll have to grind some plastic off. Sorry about the clattering, the cam is mounted on the tx and the mike picks up me crawling around on the floor.
I can get on with finishing the windows and paint now.

That looks great. I assume the red light showing is from the receiver and not advertising a mobile house of ill repute

Any thoughts on sounds? It will be fun driving it when you have the gun and limber hitched up!

Despite exhaustive research, to the best of my knowledge the British Forces in Europe were not predisposed to providing travelling houses of ill repute in the back of Morris Quads, I am however willing to accept any evidence to the contrary.
Once all the externals are complete, I will look at doing some sort of interior. There is a bulkhead on the real one, so if I install that it will hide the glow.

Historically the Box/Office Truck in the convoy was called the "Gin Palace" in the British Army.
