. So it looks like Tamiya have loss another customer. Brian...
You seem to be going off the most expensive one out there, as has been pointed out there are places t get it cheaper.

Yes, L/70. I see on another board a build with the L/48. Unlike the Panther, the muzzle break was removed at some point. From what I read," due to the gun being so close to the ground, when the gun was fired with the muzzle break in place, it caused so much dust it would give the tanks location away" so the crews would remove them.

Tom wherever you buy Tamiya tanks in the UK or EU I feel that we're just being ripped off by Tamiya. Brian...

I saw the L/48 build on rcu - using a spare barrel etc from a panzer IV. Nice idea.
Personally prefer it with the L/70.
Look forward to more photos to drool at!

Pre brexit the Tamiya jagdpanzer would have been £556 plus post, I hardly call that a rip off. Unfortunately now the £ is in the toilet against the yen, euro and dollar tanks cost more. Yes the Tamiya jagdpanzer is a little bit more than the iv but not that much.

Well who"d of thunk!!
The muzzle brake being removed by the crew in every single period picture of these.
I wonder how much extra load the reccoperators suffered ?
I imagine that keeping the muzzle out of the turf would have been a job in itself being so long & low.
