What color do you use on your tracks, mine always come out looking too red?

I use 2 Coates of flat black and 2 Coates of burnt umber,then a dark earth pigmant.

My King Tigers front fenders were almost worn all the way through due to the tracks grinding on them. After I found deep gouges in them from the tracks I filled the gouges with Magnum Steel epoxy putty. That stopped the tracks from ripping the fenders up anymore. But should the fenders get ripped up anymore I'll just add more epoxy.
