Hi Chris,

I'm really enjoying watching this build.
In fact I'm enjoying it so much that I'm about to go onto ebay and get myself a jagdpanther!
I will of course be blaming you when the minister of finance notices it's arrival.  ;) ;D ;D

Cheers

I have a 1/25 Academy Jagdpanzer. When I compare both gun barrels the HL barrel to short. In my opinion it ought to be 275 mm instead of 237 mm. It will be hard to change that because mine is made of metal.....

Gunnar
If my books are correct the Jagdpanther and the King Tiger had the same gun.
So, if some of the lads on here who have KT's could measure their barrels, and those with Jagdpanthers measure their barrels, we can do a comparison.

Ooh er missus. Is it just me, or does that sound a bit pervy?  ;) ;D ;D ;D

John, my Tamiya Jagdpanther's main gun is 240mm from the mantle to the end of the gun

Thanks Brel. So there's a 3mm difference in length between the Tam gun barrel and the HL gun barrel.
Not something worth losing any sleep over.

Sorry for the 'mini thread hi-jack' Raven.

Hi Chris,

There are some excellent Jagdpanther builds going on over at RC-Panzerketten
Here's a link: http://www.rc-panzerketten-forum.com/wbb2/board.php?boardid=318&x=8&y=10&sid=

And no fear of a ban for posting that link cos this is a proper forum.  ;D ;D ;D
