Not a problem, quite enjoying this one, not too hard, not to easy. Plenty to keep one interested.

I too am debating a panzer IV for my next build after selling my Hummer.

More progress on the KV tonight - upper hull details done.

Nice hull mg and headlight. Painted behind the lense with silver paint to help reflect light.

Upper hull completed now :D

That is my trusty Tamiya modelling magazine with an in depth build/review of the KV. Very handy. I have one for all the Tamiya tanks they built and reviewed apart from the new type 10.

Thanks Simon, I've enjoyed this build so far. Shame Tamiya don't supply a commander figure and have the hatches working.

Hoping to get another TBU at some point. Currently got one in the Tiger, not going to bother battling the Leopard.

That's great!! Look forward to the photos.

I've not added anything extra to this kit, apart from the idler support and brace. There's a bunch of things I'd like to buy but putting money to another tank instead lol

KV only has a single hatch in the turret, they have you fix it by using those rubber grommets. But sneaky seeing as the Tiger, Sherman, Pershing etc have moveable hatches.

Look forward to it :D

A good figure finishes a tank off.

Can't find a Japanese tanker for my Tiger!

Got started on the turret steps tonight. Mantlet and barrel parts done so far, recoil and flash units added.

Quite a big boxy turret, not masses of space though.

Forgot how short the 76mm gun was!!

Turret coming together.

Elevation, flash and recoil units snug in that turret.

The boxy form of this beasty is apparent now!
