YES...you got the idea 43 ...a double tap...one blows the radiator the second cracks the block

Check this guy, (and the title) out on Youtube. Cut and paste link failed for some glitchy reason. He has miniature versions of the Tommy gun, AK47 etc., and they all fire live mini-ammo! Thus downscaling to rad-shooting a 1/16th scale Jeep, would actually be best served with one of these..

LOL...May as well use this
Don't think there will be much left afterwards

Bon Dieu!! Shooting something- or someone with that would be tantamount to an atomisation process. Mind you, for a human, it would save on the bodybag. You'd just need a few dabs from napkins to clear up afterwards!. Given your apparent experience at shooting rads/blocks out, though, I'd guess that you were once in the 50? Or, perhaps, someone hiding behind a bush, trying to drum up business for a local repair shop

A sort of radiator 'hitman', gun- for- hire.In fact, I've heard of cases here windscreens (translation: 'windshields) being damaged with air rifles when trade is slack...so this not without precedent.
Interestingly, the theme tune to Hawaii 50 is used in a comedy series here ("One foot in the grave', starring an embittered, septic..and very funny old scot). Every time he goes to the toilet for a potentially noisy number '2', he plays the '50' tune to disguise the ensuing eructations, and gaseous outbreaks. To annoy my ex, and demonstrate my unrelenting immaturity, I used to keep a gas mask on the outside of the toilet door(translation: 'bathroom door'); and would also hum said Hawaii 50 theme loudly...

Re: PPsh41 (.22LR) Just checked that out on the FpsRussia Youtube site. The rate of fire is astonishing, even though the rounds here were full size; so, those hapless NZ rabbits would have been reduced to atoms and dots of colour in seconds...Surely you can't be issued one of those for routine pest control, can you? Certainly beats a very, very long fence across the country

A final thought on the 9mm vs. .45 debate. The Browning Hi-Power used until 2013 by the British army was..well, guess what, a 9mm pistol. It was replaced in 2013 by the Glock 17 (also 9mm). This is now the pistol to be used by Army, Navy and Airforce; so somebody up there likes the 9mm parabellum.

I've found over in the UK they tend to stick with NATO rounds more where as over here we're a bunch of rebels!
That and guns aren't as part of the culture like here in the states so they tend to jump every time they pull a trigger, the bigger the round the higher they jump, a .45 would make them an easy target.
The 9mm was invented by the Germans don't forget.

The English ARE germans, don't forget (Angelsächse), a point much discussed in 'Hitler's Table talk", by Hugh Trevor-Roper. 'Only Germans could control 200 million people '..(India as it was).. 'with only 50,000 soldiers and civil servants', declared Adolf, with undisguised admiration for the English. Also, even today, the English language is still officially classed as Germanic. Not the sort of praise you'd want on your CV, I think; but then I'm mostly scottish!!

Mr J., you've just inadvertently suggested a means of improving on our Olympic field sport performances. Instead of disguised steroids, all our UK high-jumpers need is the well-timed sound of a .45 going off!!

Sheer Genius, thanks

Supposed to put up with derogatory comments from a Rebellious Northern Tribesman and an equally Rebellious former member of the Colonies. ?

There is a very good reason why England is called Gods Country and being associated with Mr A Hitler is not it.
Oh and a Happy New Year (Happy Hogmanay) to you and everyone else on the Forum.
