The side vents on your StuG should pop off as a unit. There are accurately molded sets with the louvers available that are ready to have the screens attached, no 'hollowing out' work needed. Here are the pics showing them on the Ausf B. Oz Armor or Tank Army should have them there in Australia.

Shame too, theyre good & would have saved a bit of work. Oh well, out with the brute force instruments
Listen to Painless ...they should snap off pretty easy...didn't take long for me to just pry one end and just allow the rest to follow

Hey team, with life being so utopian, the birds singing, V8's cars all day.................AND THE ALL BLACKS BY NIGHT I looked a picture smashing NZ Bubbly out of the bottle at 0340hrs I can tell ya.
RUGBY WORLD CUP HOOYAAAA one more to go.
The vents fell off on day one so no probs there. I cut the guts out late last night while waiting for the game to start.
Used brass strip to form the vent louvres ready for the PE overlay later on.
Near enough for this pig !

In the state I was in, I need more credit !!
The game was a knife edge, 2 points in it.
Woke the whole house, and the poor mob next door(as I found out today)
Apparently at that time of the night, in this neighbourhood, noise like that gets the police involved ...........
I pity the law enforcers getting called to my house during a rugby world cup semi- in a 2 pointer with a few minutes left to play, to tell me, and the wife, son , & daughter to be quiet.
The hangover would have been worse

Oh it was the game alright !!
Now overnight the Australians have also made the final.................do you have any idea what it might be like, as a Kiwi, living here in Australia, if they get up next week over us ?
Ahem, we will win, but it will be a heart-stopper.

Ok, I forgive the lack of understanding..........but take it from me, the rivalry in sport between our two nations goes way past "its just a game"
I doodled about tonight on minor details , rear plate metal work, sealed the concrete with diluted white glue, did a few weld & cut marks, primed the wheels ready to fit.
Hope to get a march on after I get back from work.
