And today has seen the lower turret half painted and fixed to the upper hull. Turret electrics being attached currently.
Quite an involving build, enjoying it but it's testing at times!

Just making the barrel/mantlet - it's huge!

Two hours later and the gun/mantlet is ready to be attached later this week.

I applied some grease on the barrel to aid in a smooth recoil

Remember what you said about the barrel sticking! I need to sand the inside of the mantlet/recoil part as the micro switch isn't engaging...

Had to fettle with the recoil this morning, seems a bit of ca glue had protruded into the barrel slide, causing the recoil to work but not pull the barrel back.
Ten mins later after a bit of sand paper and grease around the barrel slide and she works fine
