I like that part that says "Expansion Port"
I wonder if there's a Pro version of the board which will make use of the Expansion Port.
How is the sound? How does it compare to an IBU2 Pro with TPA? Is it loud?
R and L ESC? Right and Left Electronic Speed Controllers?
MG2 means second machine gun? Where is MG1?
SM R and SM P - ?
Brake?

MG1 is where it always was, on the main 8 pin cable that feeds from the hull to the control board.

IBU 3 is already a PRO board.
All the IBU3 board can use the expansion port, since the board can be FW upgraded via USB whenever an add-on module is released also a new version
of FW and PC application (if needed) will be available for (free) download.
The sound is good (i cannot say very good, amazing, extraordinary and so on, i'll let the users tell about).
As Ian said only one speaker, 12W @ 2S li-po (8.4V), the sound samples have similar arrangement as IBU2 but no more microSD card, only one engine running sample.
A lot of new sounds and all customizable.
Yes, two ESC outputs.
Yes, two MG's, as Jarndice right said the first one is always in the same place.
SM R is the relay output for TARR 4 wires smoker
SM P is the proportional output for the TARR fan or the standard HL/Taigen smoker
Brake is the brake lights output (just like IBU2)
About the expansion port, the first module to be relased will be dedicated to modern tanks ...

IAN/IVANO,
When I was looking at the IBU3 board in the photograph I noticed every socket was labelled with its purpose,
Will the production boards be labelled as well?
It will certainly take a lot of the confusion out of a build if it is.
