Have been in touch with Dominique at rctank.de and she's sure that this is the standard riding sound of my tank. She says it's the same as all the Taigen and HL tanks but that a speaker upgrade will improve it a bit. I really like the sounds some of those posh setups make but it's a Q of priorities and soon I have to turn my attention to another load of building work. I'm sure I will upgrade this sometime though as it's a cracking model.

Yes, I'd like to put some decent sounds into a couple of my tanks. As you said, priorities. As much as I would like different sound, I would like a new tank more.

Trouble is ......when you're talking new tank money, or even approaching for sound upgrades, I can certainly see the dilemma there. I think I'll just turn mine down a bit for now so that the ssssshhhhhhhh sound doesn't upset anyone :haha: :haha: :haha:

Personally if they say that White noise coming out of your tank is normal...they are yanking your chain there Steel...especially since Jack and jt said theirs work by just turning up the volume
Don't know of any tank that gets to the point that all it will emit is a Hiss...I think it's defective ;)
