Glad you like it fynsdad... it's far from perfect... If I had your magic hands ... skill and knowledge it might be better
I'm going to watch for your skirted build... I'm sure it will not only be produced at a greater speed..but with more accuracy

One never knows how the colour choice will turn out Mr Heat when dealing with Mr Alpha...............for all we know it may turn up in a rainbow

Mr Alpha is it just me or does the 'Skirt' make the 'Legs' look thin ?
Best to wait until completion that way all bets are safe

Good eye Herman.... yes they do make the "legs" look thin...reason I don't really care for skirts on a tank lol...especially the early Shermans ...later models that had the wider shoes look a little better... but more or less it's the look the Sherman acquires ..if it weren't for the anime.. I may probably have not even ventured to make this variant
The serendipitous factor of the skirts as they are... is if I should change to Mato metal shoes... It will accommodate those with ease

Yes Sir Canned... there can be no other color that adorns this model than green... rest assured oh lord of the Shermans ...the final markings may not meet the standard... but the color will

GREAT job on the skirts, Alpha! I may not like the look of skirts on a Sherman all that much, but they really look exactly the part. Another very nice (and very unique) build from your workshop. I'll bet that somewhere in a Girls Und Panzer modeling club in Japan, there is a shrine to you! -Mike

Hey Mike1... thanks for the kind evaluation...and help ... she really is coming along... at the moment have the parts that are sanded under some green primer coat.. just to make sure all the surfaces are straight ...provided the weather holds... might have some pictures later ... hope you tune in for that ...as I need all the advice I can get on this one lol..... as I too am not a fan of skirts on a tank either ... they look ok on Axis tanks...but for some reason just don't work on allied models
Carpe Diem my friend

Where am I?

...Ok .... Now I remember lol.... the weather held out....not only did I get some picture taking in... I also did the bulk of the work on the rear bulkhead

view of upper hull high vantage ...check coated with primer

view of upper hull low vantage... check coated with primer
everything turned out pretty straight.... so no further work needed ... the Mato mated with the Heng Long surprisingly well

left side

right side

rear bulkhead... there were three variants that I found... I chose this one because my tow hitch broke off when taking the model off the shelf...I put the hitch somewhere safe.... it's still safe... but out of sight

...a tad different from the other two which pretty much resemble the stock Heng Long... this one has the double access hatch...two circular covers welded to the bulkhead... and is rounded on the bottom edge ...with two single shackle brackets
The image of the real tank is on the first page
The air cleaners need to be screened before installing...have those someplace safe....and the exhaust will have to be made
Carpe Diem Everyone!
