For my information, I would like to know where was storing the 4 " legs " for a Famo with a 6t Biltein Kran?

I am sorry that I do not know the answer to this as my knowledge of giant German halftracks is sadly lacking. I do know that if you make this thing any more realistic, it is just going to be driven away to WWII through some dimensional timewarp one night while you are asleep. ;o)

I have looked in my Famo books, and I cannot find any photos showing stowage on the stabilizers. I would think that they are somehow stowed inside the square tubes where they are attached. I have seen pictures where the pads are removeable and are stowed along the front behind the seat.

Looking at various images, it does appear that the legs slid in and out of the transverse box sections.

Thank you Al. I know the pads can be remove and are rear the driver seat. A member of an another forum think the same thing than you, but the legs are very long to stow in this part of the vehicle.

However, it is true than it can be the best place to stow these legs. When I look photos of a Bussing Nag with a 3t Bilstein crane, I have the impression that the legs can slide inside.
