My brass wire/rod came today (oh what a boon!) along with some parts from welsh dragon. Norbert gets schumo tow shackles, new smoke launchers, PE grills and an S hook for the tow ropes. I also ordered a new set of headlights as I'd slightly melted the last set :S

The wire allowed me to complete the jack block clamping mechanism (fully functional) and the fire
extinguisher. I also started wiring up the headlights!

Yes the flap is fully working!!

Tom,
A delight to the eyes, my Friend. *chuckles* Did the headlights go 'FOOM!' in some wiring mishap?

Painless

It does take some time (that extinguisher took a good 3-4 hours) but its very satisfying when done! I've not made it easy for my self when folds snap and I have to solder back together! She's getting there though. Going to try and blitz all the tool clamps and clasps tonight. The brass wire does make things much easier. But I'll be investing in a proper soldering iron before I do this much PE on a tank again!

A tiny (literally) update for you folks, I've finished the clasps on the rear stowage bin and started on the barrel cleaning rods. The clasps took a good few hours but now I've got the hang of it I'm getting faster!

Awesome Tom,

Beautiful PE work. God, I would be afraid to run it in battle! LOL!
