Please excuse the tardy reply Mr Panzer.
I really appreciate the kind words. I also advise new members to take the time to scroll through the pages of historic builds to take in as much as is on offer and marvel at the skills on display.
I do have plans for a mid/late- very late Tiger, but things need to settle here for a while.
Thanks again

Why thanks Mr Spartan, I'm pretty happy the way he sits. The Tiger 1 is so well documented that there is every bit of info available to the modeler.
Plus all the great examples posted in here, a guy can really have a field day doing one.

Good morning, Herman,
The crew is a credit to your fine Winter Tiger! *chuckles* I'm looking carefully here but those lashing rings must be just out of the camera's view ;o)
regards,

Very interesting thread, HB. It's not one I've encountered before, and makes a good, long, entertaining..and sometimes even informative read! ( :lolno: ) The Forum's rich in these epic narratives, and that's why I've exhumed a few myself lately. (if only with links..). This way, Newbies
and not-quite-so-newbies, can begin appreciate the forum archives. It may also help them to help themselves, instead of duplicating queries ;) Nice Tiger, by the way..and where you say you're no whizz with tank electronics, you're certainly no slouch in the decorating department
