A great build which never got beyond my limited mental abilities to take in.   shaun

Thanks Mr Jarndice............I however have taken unquantifiable years of my liver during this !
Winter for you guys up north is the tank-season = to cold to venture outside= great for tanking in front of the fire.
For me its the opposite- to bloody hot to be out of the airconditioning in our summer - ideal for tanking :D
On the mental capacity- I have the greatest admiration for those that can and do the electronics in these things, but no understanding whatsoever :haha: :haha:
P.s. on a trip to europe my breakfast was a staple of Carefore Pringles & Cashews :/

Once again great build, and I am looking forward to the new KT. I think a Henschal Turret KT is in my future too when funds allow. Will probably try and do one from 511 S Abt. I am a big fan of 502 S Abt, but I believe they became 511 before or when they received their allocation of KTs.
Cheers Mr Scalawag, its great to find an inspirational picture, and another thing to try to emulate it
I will do the Ibsa (as it is called in reference pics) to sit mighty - whitey on, but its going to absorb a bit of time -short on the commodity market just now :(
The K.T is burning me to get on with, (i can see it sitting with turret rotated left of axis on the top shelf of wifes walk in wardrobe when I get into bed every night) & Ive always wanted an "Octo-King", but I need to stay the course and complete my buys in order...............its just the right thing to do. :| :S

Oh I get "ones" drift mate :haha: .................I have a very clever and artistic Daughter, but this is outside her pay grade !!
I will have to do it the old fashioned way- stupid wood and glue :eh:
I can at times be my own worst enema-woops 'y' and dig a hole thats hard to get out of, but the Ibsa will be built, its just the right thing to do :problem:
Thanks Mr 'Canned', this 'one' appreciates your endorsement

(humbly tips hat) thanks Mr Hugill, I did give it a good honest go mate. Needs a descent picture set and a couple of figures as an add on eh ?

I'd say you're right on the money Herman

I was hoping you would do the comparison shot Mr alpha, it seems my turret was not rotated quite enough, but im pretty happy with the overall result.
I have landed some half round dowel over the weekend which will make the damaged Ibsa build a bit more straight forward, so thats a bonus of moving house & going into places otherwise unnecessary.
Have to do a proper picture of him in the correct setting or it just wont be 'right' if you know what I mean.

Hate to bust your hump, but I have to stick to the Schlepper III next, then the stug..................then the Octo-King, I have a Panther G in the wind as well, with a double axial & twist !!..............

Yeah the turret is a little out of sync ... but I'm satisfied with your result as well :D ....You did a fine job Herman.... I'm sure the diorama will get the same attention to detail...

Bust my hump????????????? nah...knew you were focused on the schlepper .... kind of stopped on my L70... need another break to figure out the fabrication of the control panels to hold the switches and mini boards....so I will probably give my Jagd another color coat (deepened a tad)...then a fast go over of my Tiger...so I can consolidate them for a team photo...with a little bit of luck... the KT might make it's way in...but I'm not going to push that one as collecting parts for it has been filled with little hitches
After that I have three more builds to do over the winter... hopefully two in the spring of next year... then a nice long break lol ;)

Herman,

Sorry I wasn't much of a contributor to this post - you have done a great job.

Of course I completely relate to the detail - but next time don't be afraid to make it a runner! To me the magic of this scale is to make it perfect - and then watch (and hear) it MOVE!
